ABOUT SAWYER

Sawyer Patterson is a professional actor from Burbank, CA. He was last seen on stage as Valvert in Cyrano de Bergerac at the Pasadena Playhouse, Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof at La Mirada Theatre, and Edward Brocket in Alice, Formerly of Wonderland by Mark Saltzman at Ensemble Theatre Company in Santa Barbara. He has a BFA in Theater Performance from Baylor University where he was seen on stage as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Alcippe in The Liar by David Ives. He was also an MFA Candidate in Theater Performance at UC Irvine.

Sawyer has a passion for Shakespearean theater but is deeply in love with all forms of theater work from Miller, O’Neill and Williams to Lynn Nottage and Oscar Wilde and everyone in between.  He believes that theater is a place that empathy can thrive, hatred can be mended, and everyone’s story can be heard.

Alongside theater, Sawyer is a cinephile and loves the screen equally to the stage.  He is passionate about all types of cinema and appreciates the power and outreach a cinematic story can have on the world.
